Bloody Mary The Bloody Mary is often thought to have been invented at Harry’s Bar in Paris, in the 1920s. The French bartender later came to the King Cole Room of the St. Regis Hotel in New York City, where he, as legend has it, “improved” on his earlier recipe. |
Ingredients
1 1/2 oz. vodka 2 dashes worcestershire sauce 4 dashes tabasco sauce Pinch kosher salt Pinch ground pepper 1/4 oz. fresh lemon juice 5 oz. tomato juice Spear of dill pickle, Lemon wedge
Instructions
Combine above ingredients, except for the pickle and lemon, in an ice-filled mixing glass and roll between tin and mixing glass until well blended. Strain into a tall, 16 oz., ice-filled Anchor Hocking Oxford glass. Garnish with a wedge of lemon and a dill pickle spear.
